Message From The Principal

Dear PS7 Families and Community,

I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve as Interim Principal of PS7 Elementary while Mrs. West is on maternity leave. For the past nine years, I have had the privilege of being part of the St. HOPE and PS7 community, and throughout that time, my love for our scholars, families, staff, and the Oak Park community has only continued to grow. I truly believe in the power of education and in the incredible things that can happen when a school community works together to ensure every scholar is known, supported, challenged, and celebrated.

There is so much to be excited about at PS7 Elementary! As we begin our second year on our new campus, we are continuing to build on the strong foundation we have created while always pushing ourselves toward what is possible for our scholars. We remain grounded in our mission, vision, and five pillars as we work toward our goal of becoming the smartest school in the city. 

I am excited for a year filled with joyful classrooms, high expectations, strong relationships, lots of learning, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. I feel incredibly lucky to lead and serve a community that means so much to me, and I cannot wait to see all that our scholars and staff accomplish together this year.
